Is it really free?
Yes. No card, no account to create - I only confirm your email with a 6-digit code so I can send you the full report. You can scan as often as you like, up to 15 scans an hour.
How is the score calculated?
Each check is worth a set number of marks. Your score is the marks you earned divided by the marks available, out of 100. Platforms we couldn't read are left out completely, so they can't drag your score down. Grades follow the same bands as the scorecard inside Dr. Marketo: A+ from 90, A from 80, B from 70, C from 60 and D from 45.
Why weren't Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or X scored?
Those platforms don't let anyone read a profile without the owner's permission, and we don't scrape. Inside Dr. Marketo you connect them yourself, and the full scorecard reads them for you.
Where do the competitor numbers come from?
From Google's public business listings. We search for businesses of the same category in your city and compare their rating, review count and photos with yours. We show the typical (median) business, so one giant chain can't skew it.
Can I check a competitor's business?
Yes. The Score Card reads public data, so you can scan any business by its name and city.
What happens to my details?
The scan is kept on our server for 24 hours so we can email the report if you ask, then it's deleted. If you request the report, we save your email so we can send it and follow up. See our privacy policy.
